[GCA-Announcements] Getting out the 2008 vote... Caller School Vote, that is!!

handful of replies.)
 
No, that's not a typo. It really says “2008”. 

It's time for to vote  on who you'd like to coach at the 2008 GCA Caller 
School in Cleveland.  

The 25th IAGSDC Convention calling staff includes:  Anne  Uebelacker, Barry 
Clasper, Betsy Gotta**, Dayle Hodge,  Ed Foote**, Ett  McAtee, John Steckman, 
Lloyd "Sparky" Sparks, Mike DeSisto, Mike Jacobs**, Nick  Martellacci, Sandie 
Bryant,  and Vic Ceder.

If you'd like any information about these callers you  can check out their 
bios on the Touch A Quarter Century web site:  http://www.taqc.org 

While we've traditionally hired people from the  calling staff, the  
following coaches have also asked to be considered:  Andy Shore, Ken Ritucci**, and 
Harlan Kerr.

To vote, simply email your  top three choices numbered 1 thru 3 to 
nmcaller at aol.com 

Please list the  names in order of  preference (i.e, #1 = person you'd most 
like to study  with).

The votes will be tallied, and the two coaches with the highest  number of 
points will be 
contacted regarding their interest and  availability.  

(Remember, we don't hire coach #3 until we have  enough students to fill the 
third section.) 

It's only January, 2007. Why  the big rush, Nick? 

Thank you for asking!  We're going to submit  our 2008 proposal to All Join 
Hands in early 2007, so that we'll be able to  begin accepting registrations 
immediately following convention.   

Historically, we've applied for co-sponsorship  after convention,  causing a 
delay in figuring out our final budget, tuition costs,  scholarship  
availability, etc.

Moving the  approval process to  the beginning of the year will make for a 
smoother process  all  around. 
Last but not least, please sign your vote.  With your  name.  At the bottom 
of the message.  

Please don't assume that  I'll know who you are based on your email address. 
This procedure will be our  "checks and balances" mechanism preventing  people 
from voting "early and  often" and thereby stacking the deck in favor of 
their favorite coaches!  

Ok, gang.  Get out there and vote!
