Hello;

My name is Dan Pantano.  Don Dupsky, recently deceased, and a Rocky Mountain
Rainbeau, and I are the first, as far as I know, gay square dance couple to
have been appointed to Chair a State Square Dance Festival.  Don & I
were/are  active in the Denver Area Council and danced at most of the member
clubs on a regular basis.  We have always been well accepted and welcome and
our experiences were/are always very positive.

My purpose in writing to you is to extend an invitation to your member
callers to participate in our Festival.  We are very excited about being
able to extend this invitation and believe that those who accept this
invitation will be well pleased with their decision.

A copy of a letter that went to our Colorado Callers and Cuers is captioned
here and is applicable to all callers and cuers that decide to participate.

"The Colorado State Square Dance 2010 committee is pleased to announce its
plans for the Sundance Spin¹s Caller and Cuer Hospitality.  This is a unique
concept, which will allow registered callers and cuers to participate more
fully in the activities of the Festival.  The committee has approved that
the hospitality fund will be equal to $420 plus $5 for every registered
adult participant over 600.  This fund will be used to provide hospitality
for the callers and cuers.  The Festival will contract for a secure room and
the callers and cuers will decide on the level of hospitality they would
like to enjoy to the limit of the fund.  Any remaining monies in the fund at
the end of the Festival will be divided among the participating callers and
cuers equally.  To participate in the decisions and divisions callers and
cuers must be registered by March 31, 2010 and signed up with Bob Gaunt."
