[GCA-Announcements] GCA Annual Meeting - Elections

We have three offices opening up to be voted on at the 2012 GCA Annual Meeting:  Vice President (Arlene Kaspik, incumbent), Secretary (Terri Sherrer, incumbent), Alternate IAGSDC Delegate (Andy Shore, incumbent).
 
Andy was elected to fill out the term of Alternate Delegate in 2011 and now, according to the bylaws, the office of Alternate IAGSDC Delegate is open for a full term.  If Andy wishes to continue, he would be elected to his first full term.
 
Arlene Kaspik, incumbent Vice President, has indicated to the Board that she will not run for a second term.  We thank her for all her hard work organizing two Caller Schools in 2011 and 2012.
 
Terri Sherrer, incumbent Secretary, has indicated to the Board that she will run for a second term.
 
I will not be attending the Vancouver Convention.  It will help the process of electing officers for Vice President, Secretary, and Alternate IAGSDC delegate if interested members of the GCA will send emails to Michael at MichaelLevy.net, Alan_Hirsch at ACM.org, and AWells8341 at gmail.com letting us know of your interest in running for an office.
 
Michael will organize the elections at the annual meeting on Friday June 29 at 5PM.  I hope before then, he can post the names of the people who desire to run for an office so that the members have time to think about the choices.
