An Easy "At Home" Resolve Technique

Rich Reel   24 Jan 2004

3 steps . . .

Step 1: Pair one couple

More information on how to pair a couple   Tip: Concentrate on pairing from Two Face Lines.

Step 2: Move paired couple to their home spots

Here's how to do this from Two Face Lines . . .

Get standard arrangement 2 Face Lines [0F] with at least one couple paired.

Special Case: All Dancers Paired

If you happen to notice quickly that everyone is paired with their partner, you might get an easy resolve.

General Case: At Least Once Couple Paired

Use the following procedure to get everyone to land at home no matter which situation you had to start with.   If you call at dance speed and vary your routine, the dancers will never see it coming.

Remember to always picture the ending formation...

                 3 3
                 v v
              4> <2
              4> <2
                 ^ ^
                 1 1

As an example, the #1 couple is shown in red however you may use any couple.
